You are cordially invited to the Midwest Society for Programming
Languages Fall 1996 Workshop, to be held on Saturday, October 5, 1996,
at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

The aim of the MSPLS Workshops is to allow an informal exchange of ideas
in all areas of programming languages and systems among researchers and
practitioners from Midwestern universities and companies. Contributions
span the range from presentations on preliminary research results to
introductory lectures on ongoing research efforts. MSPLS meetings are an
excellent opportunity for PhD students to make preliminary presentations
of their work and for active researchers to give introductory lectures
on their ongoing research efforts.

We encourage all interested to join us for the fun and informative event
and to give presentations. To sign up to give a presentation, send
e-mail to Michael Siff (siff@cs.wisc.edu) or sign up on the Web. Talks
will be selected on a first-come-first-serve basis, so sign up soon. We
encourage participation from students and faculty, academia and industry
alike.

Thanks,

Mike Siff, MSPLS Fall '96 Coordinator
