New releases of Coco/R
======================

Frankie Arzu has released a new version 1.04 of the C version of the LL(1)
compiler generator Coco/R.

This is available for anonymous ftp from

        cs.ru.ac.za:/pub/coco as the file cocorc04.zip

Frankie does not have an ftp server yet. He is available on e-mail at the
address farzu@uvg.edu.gt or sunguat!assist!frankie@sun.com

A port by Rolf Schrader for TDI Atari Modula-2 is now available from

        cs.ru.ac.za:/pub/coco as the file ATARI136.EXE

This is in the form of an MS-DOS self-extracting file. This may also be
unpacked by using the LHA decompressor on other systems.

----

Other Modula versions (1.36 is the latest at present) are available from the
sites

        neptune.inf.ethz.ch:/pub/Coco
        ftp.psg.com:/pub/modula-2/coco
        cs.ru.ac.za:/pub/coco
        pluto.fit.qut.edu.au:/pub/coco

The Oberon version is available from the site

        neptune.inf.ethz.ch:/pub/Coco

For those who do not know, Coco/R generates recursive descent parsers and
their associated scanners from attribute grammars. Full source code, and a
variety of simple example applications are supplied in the distribution kits.
