Hi,


I'm looking for free design Software for the XILINX LCA/FPGA parts
(programmable logic). (I mean the PAL-like chips, whose hardware
functions are booted at system startup time). I'm planning to use XILINX
chips in a small design for hobby and education purposes, and even the
cheapest development package is too expensive for just "playing around".
Maybe anyone knows about that ? Since there seem to be free or at least
very cheap PAL assemblers, maybe there's something around for the XILINX
LCA/FPGAs ? (I thing AMD makes compatible chips, also).
