                                            Faculty Positions in Computer Science


Applications are invited for two tenure-track faculty positions in
computer science at the assistant professor level. Candidates must have a
strong backgrounds in high-performance compiler technology, software
engineering with emphasis in parallel system evaluation and modeling.
Applicants must have a PhD prior to September 1, 1994 in computer science
or in a related area, and must demonstrate strong potential for excellence
in research and teaching. Responsibilities include research, teaching,
direction of graduate students and program development.


Salaries for the positions are competitive. Applicants should submit a
letter of application, a resume, and the names, addresses and phone
