SENIOR MEMBER, TECHNICAL STAFF-- C++; Debuggers; Pittsburgh, PA.


This is a software engineering and programing job in a new group
developing a C++ programming environment for embedded systems. The job
involve individual technical contributions and work in groups.


The successful applicant is expected to be--or quickly become--thoroughly
familiar with all aspects of the C++ language, and will be the group's
primary resource on C++. He or she will assume overall responsibility for
designing, developing, and/or modifying a proprietary embedded-systems
symbolic debugger to work with C++, by designing and implementing a C++
subset interpreter in the debugger. Subsequently, the applicant will
assume other tasks involving C++ technical leadership in the project.


Requirements: M.S. or Ph.D. in computer science; 4 years or more
experience in programming languages and their implementations. Thorough
knowledge of C++, and excellent software engineering skills. Some
exposure to embedded systems. Ability to work well individually and in a
group. Project management experience is a plus.
