No, these are '.Z' (compress) files. Simtel-20 runs an operating system
which does not distinguish between cases. For simplicity most (all?)
mirror sites map everything to lower case. Simtel-20 filenames can only
have a single '.' in them, so the common extension is '.tar-z'. File
should be renamed to have an extension of '.tar.Z' and then treated in
the normal manner.
