Upgraded versions of the Small C Compiler and Assembler for the Motorola
DSP56800 Family are now available.

Originally tested on NMI's IsoPod (see http://www.newmicros.com), the
software is reported to run on all of the 56800 series.
Information, Downloads, etc available from http://home.attbi.com/~petegray/

I should also mention that the software is free, runs in a DOS box (i.e.
from W95/98/2K/NT/XP) and Linux (tested with RedHat 8.0).
The JTAG flash loader has also been ported to Linux.
For those without JTAG, the Serial Bootloader is also now supported.
The compiler/assembler also supports interrupts, and preemptive
multithreading example code is provided, as well as example code for a wide
variety of sensors.

Regards,
-Pete.
