We invite you to participate to the third meeting of the Open64 User
Forum to take place on Monday night, March 24th and present your
recent activities and results using the Open64 compiler
infrastructure. Active Open64 developers from universities and the
industry will briefly report their experience with and plans for the
future development and application of the Open64 compiler.


There have been a considerable amount of work performed with the
Open64 compiler during the past year, and we anticipate to hear a
number of significant development and encouraging result at this
Forum.


Topics of discussion will be (but not limited to) findings and results
in:
              - porting Open64 to other languages
              - retargeting Open64 to new target architectures
              - research in general-purpose code analysis and optimization
                  using Open64
              - research in using Open64 for embedded systems
              - parallelization using Open64
              - notable project in using Open64 for significant applications
              - infrastructure /tool development for Open64


The meeting provides a forum for discuss your findings and experience
with a broad range of Open64 users. It is also the opportunity for the
speakers to talk about their expectations and wishes concerning the
future development of Open64.


Speakers will include:
              - Roy Ju, Intel/CAS
                  "The Open Research Compiler (ORC)"
              - Jesus Sanchez from UPC, Spain
                  "Memory Pattern and Path Profiling"
              - Lei Huang from University of Houston
                  "Exploiting Open64 Compiler Analyses for Program Improvement"
              - Professor Gao from University of Delaware
                  "kylincc: an XScale compiler"
              - Alban Douillet from University of Delaware
                  "How to contribute to the Open64 project"
              - Professor Wei Hsu from University of Minnesota
              - Lawrence Berkeley Lab, speaker TBD


If you also want to participate as a speaker, please reply to
ggao@ee.udel.edu and douillet@capsl.udel.edu. You should include a
title of your talk in your reply. Each speaker is expected to talk
between 5 and 15 minutes.


The forum will take place at the conference hotel at 7pm. Refreshments
will be served. For registering/accommodations in CGO-I, please visit
