Conference Description
----------------------
CC 2003 is concerned with recent developments in compiler construction,
programming language implementation, and language design. It emphasizes
practical and efficient methods and tools for all phases of compilation
and for all language paradigms. Topics of interest include, but are not
limited to:

  - compilation and interpretation techniques, including parsing, type
checking, static analysis, code generation, and code optimization

  - run-time issues, including memory management, dynamic compilation,
      dynamic linking and loading

  - language constructs and their implementation

  - modularization constructs and techniques for separate compilation

  - implementation of domain specific languages

  - tools for compiler construction or language support, including
      debuggers, profilers, refactoring tools, etc.

Submission Information
----------------------
CC 2003 accepts two types of contributions:

  - Research papers

Prospective authors are invited to submit full papers in English
presenting original research. Submitted papers must be unpublished
and not submitted for publication elsewhere. In particular,
simultaneous submission of the same contribution to multiple ETAPS
      conferences is forbidden.

The proceedings will be published in the Springer-Verlag Lecture
Notes in Computer Science series. Final papers will be no more than
15 pages long in the format specified by Springer-Verlag at
      http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html. It is recommended
that submissions adhere to that format and length. Submissions that
are clearly too long may be rejected immediately.

  - Tool demonstrations

Demonstrations of novel and state-of-the-art tools are also invited,
possibly complementing a paper submitted separately. Selected
demonstrations will be presented in ordinary conference sessions,
using state-of-the-art projection. Each demonstration will be
accompanied by the publication of a short paper (up to 4 pages in
the same format as for research papers) in the proceedings.

Papers should be submitted electronically in either PostScript or PDF
format. See the web-site for more detailed instructions. The
submission deadline is Oct 18, 2002.

See also the ETAPS 2003 website for some general information on
submissions concerning all the ETAPS main conferences.
