One of the world's leading research laboratories is seeking a Research
Staff Member or Senior Engineer to provide technical leadership in a
new, bleeding-edge group within a industry market leader. This
position will be to provide technical leadership and contributions to
the ongoing development of an advanced C/C++ optimizing compiler and
associated tools for a brand new initiative in DSP architecture
tailored to low-power wireless communications. As a leader and member
of this team, there is a focus on the development and implementation
of innovations in compiler optimizations and scheduling techniques for
data and instruction level parallelism. The ideal candidate will
possess extensive experience in compiler design and engineering (>5
years), a PhD degree (desirable), strong processor architectural
background, and experience with: compiler optimization algorithms,
instruction and loop level parallelism, software pipelining, VLIW
architectures, data parallel vectorization, scheduling, and code
generation. The position is located in the Westchester, NY area and
requires no travel. Compensation packages range from $150k-$200k plus

The Visual Basic .Net team is in search of an exceptionally strong
development lead, experienced and interested in driving the
development effort on Visual Basic .Net compiler. Primary
responsibilities include leading a team in designing and implementing
new VB.Net language features. This is a great opportunity to be
involved with the development of the most successful development tool
and one of the most important technologies at
Microsoft. Qualifications should include solid knowledge of C/C++ and
multi-threaded programming. Demonstrated experience managing a team
through the full product cycle from initial design, scheduling, to
final product delivery required. Knowledge of front-end compiler
technology and language design required. A BA/BS or MS degree in
